The ReliOn I-1000 1 kilowatt fuel cell product is designed to provide highly reliable performance in back-up power applications. Fueled by hydrogen and powered by six hot-swappable fuel cell cartridges, the I-1000 provides greater reliability than battery strings along with providing extended runtime capabilities normally attributed to power generator systems, without the drawbacks associated with either of those solutions.

The I-1000 is available in 24, 48 or 125-volt DC configurations. A modular electronics bay allows voltage changes in the field. The 19-inch rack-mountable 1kW box can be configured in parallel to produce the power for applications in the 1 to 5kW range. The I-1000 is CSA certified, has received its CE mark and is NFPA compliant. In combination with ReliOn's outdoor enclosure, the I-1000 has completed NEBS Level 3 testing
