Vann Draper Electronics has introduced the latest low-distortion generator to its test and measurement range.

The TG100 low-distortion sine/square wave generator is said to offer good performance for low-frequency applications, and is fully controllable via its standard RS232 interface.

A frequency range of 1Hz to 1MHz encompasses the audio spectrum and offers minimal distortion of a 0.02% up to 10KHz and 0.05% up to 50KHz. This makes it suitable for audio applications or where a stable low distortion signal source is required.

The generator has a 16 x 2 back-lit LCD which provides a concise reading of frequency level measuring units as well as measuring functions and system information. Output levels for example can be selected to read in mV, dBm and dBV.
