New president and CEO for pneumatics giant
Norgren has announced the appointment of Peter Wallace as president and CEO of the IMI Norgren Group, moving from a position as president and CEO of Rexnord CorporationNorgren, announced this week the appointment of Peter Wallace as president and CEO of the IMI Norgren Group. Wallace brings a wealth of senior management experience in global markets and high profile international business, not least from his previous position as president and CEO of Rexnord Corporation - part of the Invensys Group. Norgren is one of the world's leading manufacturers of pneumatic components and automation systems.
It is the principal member of the Fluid Controls group within the £1.6 billion IMI plc.
Martin Lamb, chief executive of IMI plc, said: "We look forward to Peter's contribution as he leads the Norgren Group in the future, building on the achievements and successes of his career to date.
We wish him every success."
Wallace takes over from Bill Wolsky who has been acting president since May and who has now been appointed deputy president of the Norgren Group.
He will work with Wallace with particular focus on global operations.
Both appointments take effect from 1 October 2001.
Wallace will be based at Norgren's Littleton site in Denver, Colorado in the USA.
